Disclaimer

Limitations of liability and scope of IndoWaris calculations.

Results are simulations

IndoWaris follows the Compilation of Islamic Law as commonly applied by Indonesia's Religious Courts, but results remain simulations. A binding determination of heirs can only be issued by a competent court or an official designated by law.

Calculation scope

  • Supported: husband/wife, children, father, mother (including gharrawain), full/paternal/maternal siblings, substitute heirs (KHI Art. 185), 'aul, radd and successive deaths.
  • Not yet supported: grandparents, nephews, uncles and other distant relatives; the cap on substitute heirs' shares (Art. 185(2)); bequests, gifts, debts and marital property. Calculations apply to the net estate.
  • Siblings are treated as excluded by any child (son or daughter) or by the father, following Supreme Court jurisprudence.

Data completeness

Results depend on the data entered, especially dates of death. When a date of death is unknown, the system assumes the person died after the deceased and shows a warning.

About the AI

IndoWarisVA explains and guides, but it is not a legal adviser and can be wrong. Share figures always come from the calculation engine, not from the AI.

Consultation

For disputes, validation or special circumstances, consult the Religious Court, a notary or an advocate.
